CATHERINE CORKERY, OWNER

A longtime practitioner and owner of FeitheOg, Catherine is a licensed Massage Therapist with more than 20 years of experience in the field. She received her certification from the Massage Institute of New England, has been a member of the American Massage Therapy Association since 1999, and for many years was an instructor at the Palmer School of Massage in Salem where she shared her passion for her work with students. She has also worked at other local establishments, including Centre Chiropractic, Conscious Body Natural Medicine of Brookline, and Sage Spa in Wellesley.

While she has been in the field for many years, Catherine remains curious about new massage therapy treatments and approaches, and is constantly studying and applying what she learns to her practice. Her areas of expertise include deep tissue, sports, cupping, Swedish, hot stone, pre-natal, soft tissue release, and Indian head massage.

Catherine places great value in working individually with each of her clients to support their overall wellbeing through open communication and treatments specifically designed to fit each client’s unique needs and body type. She works intuitively with a variety of different modalities to help release long-held tension in the body – both emotional and physical – and support a true mind-body connection.

EDWARD CHAO

Edward is a passionate advocate of the many different ways to heal the body, particularly through deep tissue – or myofascial – massage. Licensed in 2013 from the Cortiva Institute, Edward has a broad understanding of how massage can help relieve muscle tension and pain, and has experience in many disciplines including sports massage, scar tissue release, use of pressure points to relieve pain and tension, and injury recovery.

A resident of Mansfield, MA, Edward grew up in Taiwan. In addition to providing massage therapy, he has also partnered up with a local chiropractor to help clients address muscular and other structural integrity issues that do not respond well to massage alone.

TRESSIE DAVIS

A massage therapist who has lived and worked in the Boston area for many years, Tressie understands the fast-paced lifestyle that comes with living in the city, and the toll it takes on the body. She is committed to helping clients achieve overall wellness and balance, and that massage can support a healthy lifestyle – even a busy one.

Tressie takes the time to understand each client’s specific needs and challenges, and strives to help enhance wellness of both the body and mind while increasing awareness of each. Her specific areas of focus include deep tissue, pre-natal and therapeutic massage, as well as reflexology. She has been practicing massage therapy for 12 years following her certification from the Lincoln Technical Institute, and prior to joining FeitheOg in 2018, practiced at Cabral Wellness in Tewksbury, and Massage Envy.

CATHERINE DUGGAN

DANI FEARON

Dani is a graduate of Cortiva Institute of Massage in Watertown, and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She provides therapeutic massage through blending Swedish techniques, sports massage, deep tissue, myofascial release, and hot stone. Her mission is to create a soothing environment that supports her clients’ overall wellness goals. Dani believes there is an inseparable connection between the mind, body, and soul – a philosophy which she brings to all of her work. She has a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and is pursuing her Master’s degree in Expressive Art Therapy at Lesley University. She enjoys using creativity in her work and she is focused on designing each treatment around the specific needs of each client.

DAVID O CONNELL

With more than 25 years of experience helping clients address pain and reach peak performance, David brings a sports massage focus to FeithOg based on his work in the areas of active and isolated stretching and strengthening, sports performance conditioning, and myofascial therapy. Each modality of bodywork that David uses in his practice has its own unique benefit. The treatments he uses falls into one of two categories – “active” or “passive” therapy – with an understanding that well put-together bodywork programs include a healthy mix of both.

David has spent the majority of his professional life studying and becoming trained in movement therapy in order to help clients improve mobility, heal from chronic pain, and improve their quality of life. He believes most pain and mobility issues stem from either an injury or long-term misuse of the body, and can be treated through proper movement therapy to relieve built-up tension in the muscles and ligaments, re-train movement patterns to be more functional, and bring one’s body back to its optimal structure and alignment.

David earned his B.S. at Northeastern University and a certification from the Myotone Institute in Wakefield and worked for many years at Newton Chiropractic following a several years living and working in Hong Kong.

OONAGH WHITLEY

A native of Ireland where she also studied and received her certificate in Massage Therapy, Oonagh believes in the power of therapeutic massage to heal and nourish the body, alleviate pain, improve immune function and circulation, support good sleep and feel great all over. While Oonagh is experienced in all traditional forms of massage therapy, she specializes in Swedish and hot stone work.

When asked what she loves most about her work, Oonagh loves when her clients leave FeithOg “feeling amazing.” In her spare time, Oonagh can often be found doing additional research on new massage techniques which she can incorporate into her practice.
